05 — About SILAIC A software company

We turn ideas
into software.

SILAIC builds software products and works with businesses to turn ideas and problems into software. We are a small, technical team that cares about how software is designed as much as how it is built.

Our story

Built from experience.
Driven by ideas.

SILAIC is a software company. We build and run our own products, release small tools that people can use for free, and design and develop bespoke software for businesses.

SILAIC was founded by Muhammad Awais Naseem after more than 16 years of building software for other people. That work taught us that the code is the smaller part: the harder part is understanding the problem and making something that is still useful years after launch.

We wanted to build things of our own. So alongside client work we started making our own products, beginning with KeepPulsing, clinic management software. Running a product with real users teaches you things a client project never does, and we bring those lessons to everything we build.

We started in Pakistan and work with a global outlook.

SILAIC is our commitment to building useful software, thoughtfully and for the long term.

Mission We build client software the way we build our own — as a product, not a project.
Principles

How we think
about software.

  • 01

    Product-led

Our own products have real users, so we know what software needs after launch.

Running our own products day to day shapes how we plan, build and support client work.

  • 02

    Practical

We start with the problem and build the simplest software that solves it well.

Fewer moving parts, proven technology and clear code mean software that is cheaper to own.

  • 03

    Long-term

Software keeps changing after it ships, so we plan for that from day one.

We design for change from the start, so new features and new users don’t mean starting again.
